Coventry City U23's came back to draw 1-1 at Queens Park Rangers this afternoon.
Jason Farndon was able to field a strong side for this game at Harlington which hosts QPR's training ground and included Liam O'Brien, Jack Grimmer, Brandon Mason, Dominic Hyam, Jodi Jones, Amadou Bakayoko and Jordan Shipley for this game on a sunny afternoon.
City in their Sky Blue kit, had Bakayoko through in the fifth minute tame shot at the keeper, either side of the home side having wayward efforts and one from their number nine which O'Brien blocked for a corner.
The Sky Blues went up the other end and won their first corner in the 11th minute but it was over-hit and came to nothing.
O'Brien made a great save pushing a 12th minute shot from Chair onto the crossbar and out for a corner.
QPR had most of the possession with Williams having to clear off the line in the 34th minute after City had initially lost the ball in midfield.
In the 38th minute. QPR had the lead when the challenges did not come in and Oteh was allowed to score with a shot which went across O'Brien and into the bottom corner of the net.
Jodi Jones had a shot on target in the 44th minute for the Sky Blues who won a corner that Hyam headed over just before the half ended.
Straight after the restart and O'Brien was in action, making a cracking save and then blocking from Smyth in the 52nd minute to concede a corner.
A 65th minute effort by Ngandu for City was blocked with the ball going over.
In the 74th minute. City were level when a Ngandu through ball found Jordan Shipley who lobbed it into the net.
The West Londoners tried to get their lead back for City who brought on Big Dave Bremang and Dexter Walters.
City won an 86th minute corner and Chair sent a 20 yarder inches wide before Walters had to be carried off with a leg or foot injury in the fourth minute of stoppage time and replaced by Jak Hickman.
The Sky Blues kept going and took the point they deserved.
