Coventry City U23's drew 2-2 at Bolton Wanderers tonight.

At the Macron Stadium, Nicky Eaden named a side which saw fit again Michael Folivi and Yakubu start in a not unexpected City side.

Bolton fielded Max Clayton and Liam Trotter in their side but it was Conor Wilkinson who gave them a 27th minute lead with a shot from the area.

Yakubu had not done much but he did pick out Michael Folivi who equalised for City in the 39th minute before the Nigerian was replaced at the break.

City were in front in the 70th minute through Michael Folivi who scored after a geat ball from Kyle Spence.

With three minutes to go, City were awarded a penalty, when Lavelle fouled Kyle Spence. Michael Folivi on a hat-trick stepped up but Aspinall saved.

It proved costly as in stoppage time, Liam Trotter scored with a volley to give City U23's one point instead of three.
