Coventry City U23's drew 0-0 with Crystal Palace this afternoon.
Sam Ricketts and Nicky Eaden took a City team which included Samba Diakite, Theo Wharton who was on trial from Cardiff City and a Trialist in the former Birmingham City player who looked useful in the first half.
Diakite also looked good in midfield for a City side that only created one chance in the first half through the Trialist.
Palace, who were ninth in the , hit the bar in the 50th minute before City replaced Diakite in the 66th minute.
The Trialist was taken off in the 79th minute as the game ended in a 0-0 draw.
