Coventry City U23's recorded a 3-1 victory at Crystal Palace this afternoon.
Dulwich Hamlets FC was the setting for this PDL League 2 fixture and saw Jason Farndon name a strong side which included Reice Charles-Cook in goal and Jodi Jones.
In front of a crowd of around 150, City battled well and in the 34th minute, they took the lead when Jack McBean smashed a shot into the net for his seventh goal since joining on loan.
Six minutes later, it was two when Jodi Jones set up George Thomas who turned his marker and fired low past Perntreou.
Four minutes into the second half and City had a third goal thanks to a classy finish from Devon Kelly-Evans.
Jordan Shipley picked up a booking for City who brought on Kyle Spence for the last fifteen minutes of a game which saw the Sky Blues having seven corners to Palace's two.
Palace pulled a goal back in the 75th minute when substitute Levi Lumeka bundled in but City, who replaced Jones and McBean late on, held on to record a 3-1 win, their seventh successive in all competitions and stay second in the table.
