City Youth Out Of FA Youth Cup

Coventry City Youth are out of the FA Youth Cup after a 3-0 defeat in a Third Round tie at Plymouth Argyle.

The first goal came midway through the opening period from a series of free kicks after City had had the better of the play in the opening fifteen minutes through Toby Davies on the half hour mark.

After an hour, Mike Pejic's side added a second through Jarred Stevens at Home Park, early in the second half and forced Sky Blues boss Greg Ricoh make a double change which saw Brad Jones come into defence and Jermain Grandison sent up front to make a three pronged attack.

Plymouth booked a trip to Portsmouth or Fulham in Round Four with a third goal in the 89th minute from Toby Davies.
