Kev Monks on behalf of Covsupport News Service handed over a cheque to City Academy boss Gregor Rioch to help towards the development of the young talent coming through the club last week.
Speaking to the club website, Mr Rioch said: "I'm delighted with the donation because it is the latest in what has been a great response to sponsorship of the academy.
"Kevin is a lifelong Coventry supporter who comes to our home games and supports the academy massively.
"Sponsorship of the academy is quite a new thing but it is important because it helps us develop our younger players, not just in terms of football, but in their education as well.
"We took the Under 12s and Under 13s to Ireland earlier this season, a trip they gained much from, and we hope we can do those kinds of things next season because the overall development of our younger lads is vital."
