Coventry City U18's coach Jason Farndon has described his side's victory over Peterborough Northern Star in the FA Youth Cup as a great result.
Farndon told Sky Blue Player after his side's 3-0 win: "It's a great result and delighted to be in the hat for the next round. It could have been by a much greater margin but It wasn't about how many we could put past them though, it was about getting through. We knew we had to be at our best tonight and we wanted to respect them as they've done really well to get to this round but we wanted to stamp our authority on the game and show what we're about.
"They had a go and they were difficult to beat. They played without a striker at times and sat very deep so it was a different challenge for the lads who needed to be patient tonight and they showed that maturity."
