Jason Farndon said that he thought that his Coventry City U23's side played well during their 1-1 draw against Millwall this afternoon .
Speaking to Andy Turner, Farndon said: I thought we played well and that’s probably our team, the one we work with every day, so that’s the team we expect to put out every week as a development squad.
“I thought they played really well and worked really hard. We created chances but didn’t really have the cutting edge.
“There was one shot on target for each team. There was a lot of nice football played so we have got to be more ruthless in and around the box.
"It's the hardest part of the game to score goals. “But I’d be worried if we weren’t creating chances.
“We are doing that which gives us a platform and then we have to work harder as staff to get some finishing.”
