Coventry City U23's coach Jason Farndon said his side did well to win against Queens Park Rangers yesterday.
The Sky Blues beat the West Londoners 2-0 at the Ricoh Arena to end this season and Farndon said: “I think we did well to win the game.
“Monday was really disappointing and we showed a little bit of character to come back from that and win the game.
“They were a nice footballing team, but I thought we were better.
“I asked the boys to be more first team, play the game that will get them in the team and play less development style football and I think they did that, but we still need to be better in possession.
“QPR had a lot of the ball but I don’t think they really troubled us throughout the game and the defence did well.”
