The midfielder, known for his long range goals, is not being taken on by the Sky Blues at the end of the season and has gone to Rugby to try and earn a contract.
Said Rugby Town boss Rod Brown to the CT: "Keiran has joined us from Coventry. He can play in a number of positions in midfield and though he is not the biggest lad in the world, he has very quick feet.
"We'll take a look at him in training this week and then take it from there."
News of whom City will take on, is expected shortly.
