Coventry City U21's coach Dave Hockaday felt this side probably should have beaten Charlton Athletic in a game which finished 2-2 at Ryton.
Hockaday told Keiran Crowley: "We probably should have picked up the three points today but credit to Charlton, they defended well when they went down to ten men.
"Charlton are a big, strong and powerful side and it was good to see our players stand up to that test today and get some more minutes under their belt.
"We've now got three Under-21s games left in the season and we're beginning to learn how not to lose games which is good to see."
