Shaun Jeffers scored for Coventry City Reserves in a 1-1 draw with Oxford United this afternoon.
Jeffers (pictured below) replaced trialist Kjartan Henry Finnboagason, who started the game up front with Freddy Eastwood at half-time of a game which City were losing 1-0 thanks to a goal from Tom Craddock.
However, Jeffers, who is the top scorer for City Reserves, came on and drew Lee Carsley's side level in the 80th minute with a well taken goal for his seventh reserve goal of the season.
City team: Dunn, Clarke, Wood (Pegg 60), Willis, Phillips, Bigirimana (Garner 80), Ruffels (Roberts 60), Baker, O'Donovan (Rankin 80), Eastwood, Finnbogason (Jeffers 46)
