Coventry City Academy Boss Gregor Rioch has praised Lee Carsley for the job he has done so .
Speaking to Sky Blue Player, Rioch said about Carsley who had taken both the U18's and the reserves: "It has been a great start and we haven't been in the position since I have been here. Credit to Lee Carsley who has come in here and done great.
"He has worked hard with the Under-18's and I think the main point of our success is the combination of having that full-time Under-18's coach and myself. Therefore, I am able to manage the Academy a little bit more from an office point of view, as well as out on the pitch. It has definitely improved us.
"It has been refreshing this season and the lads have been really eager to keep going and even in games they haven't played so well, we seem to have the edge at the moment."
