Professional Deal For Conor

Coventry born Conor Thomas has signed a professional deal with Coventry City.

On his seventeenth birthday, Thomas who is a hard working midfielder for City's U18 team has signed a deal which lasts until the summer of 2013.

Thomas burst on to the U18's scene when he was only fifteen and has been a regular part of the side for the last two years.



Speaking to the club website, City's Academy Director and U18's boss Gregor Rioch said: "Conor is a player that has been very highly thought of since the day I walked through the door.

"He has a real drive and determination to be a professional player and not just that but at a top level as well.

"He's been around the first team and that will no doubt be good for his development as a player and to have a first year apprenctice signing professional forms is a great achievement."
