Rioch whose side travel to Southend United for a re-arranged FA Youth Cup tie tomorrow night, told the club website: "All in all we are pleased with the result. It was a closely contested game between two well matched teams.
"I was disappointed with the manner in which we conceded early on as they were given far too much time from the throw in.
"But I think the result was a fair reflection and it was a good football game. Usually when we play Tottenham we have some very high-scoring games.
"Both sides played slightly younger teams than normal and that made it evenly matched."
