Coventry City Academy Manager Greg Rioch last week had the daunting task of telling the second year Academy players exactly who would and would not be getting a contract.
"It is the hardest day of the year as an academy manager," said Rioch to the CT.
"The bad news far outweighs the good news but we wish all the boys who will be released at the end of the season all the very best and are confident they will go on and find other clubs.
"They have all got great attitudes and will hopefully get interest. "It is sad for those who are being released but that is part and parcel of the game."
Those who will be leaving the club are Robert Ogleby, who is not on work experience at Hinckley United which some media outlets have said but did play well for them in a friendly against Aston Villa on Wednesday night, Joel Grandison, Jamie Greenway, Sullieman Lellu and Jacob Blackwell.
Covsupport News Service would like to wish all those leaving all the best in their footballing careers.
