Gregor Ricoh’s side moved to the top of the Academy League table after beating Cardiff City and Leicester drawing with Watford.
Rioch speaking to the club programme said; “It bodes well for us with the younger players coming in and doing well when we have missing some of our more senior players when they have been away with the first team.
“The next few weeks, we will be sharing the football out a bit and making sure that some of the first years who haven’t featured that much get plenty of football because the development of the players is the most important thing.”
The Sky Blues take on a Tottenham side which is currently fifth in the Group B table with eight points from six matches.
Kick Off is at 11.30am.
