Coventry City U21 boss Jamie Clapham said that his side showed a lot of character in the 2-1 win over Cardiff City at the Ricoh Arena.
City trailed to a stunning goal from Tommy O'Sullivan but came back with a Ben Stevenson goal sixty six seconds after the restart and a goal from Dion Kelly-Evans in the 90th minute to take a 2-1 win.
Speaking to Keiran Crowley, Clapham said: "It ws a difficult game for us. We changed the shape in the second-half and I think it showed as the performance levels went up.
"We're looking to develop that winning mentality at the club and develop the players as individuals as well, and I think they showed a lot of character today.
"Cardiff had a formation which caused us a few problems but I'm not going to stand there and shout as I want them to work out the problems for themselves but it's a great start to the season."
