Coventry City U18's boss Gregor Rioch has said that his side still should have won after being two goals up in twenty minutes against Watford on Saturday.
Goals from Will Roberts and Josh Ruffels had given the Sky Blues a two goals lead but a bad-tempered affair saw City have Joe Henderson sent off along with a Watford player in a match which finished 2-2.
Speaking to the CT, Rioch said: Having got a good, early lead the lads looked like they would go on to win by three, four or five.
“But we had to change things around when the lad got sent off but, having said that, we still should have seen the game out at 2-1 because we’ve been pretty good at that this season.
“But we’re still four points clear at the top and unbeaten in nine, so the boys are doing very well.”
City are scheduled to play away to Birmingham City on Saturday before travelling to Bristol Rovers for an FA Youth Cup Third Round tie on Wednesday December 14th.
