Coventry City Academy Boss Greg Rioch has said that he wants to get 2010 off to a positive start when his City U18's team travel to Tottenham Hotspur tomorrow.
"It's obviously difficult with the weather because all the lads want to do is get out and play," said.Rioch to the club website.
"For some of the boys they are approaching the later stages of their academy years and want to get as much football in as possible to prove they have what it takes to progress to first team football so to have games postponed because of the weather is frustrating. 
"There are no signs yet that the game tomorrow is in any danger though and the lads are looking forward to going to Spurs because we have enjoyed some great clashes with them in the last couple of years and the two academies have developed a very good relationship as a result.
"We just hope we can get our own 2010 off to a positive start."
