Coventry Sphinx were beaten 2-1 at Boldmere St Michaels in an MFL Premier League game tonight.
Robbie Banks' side started well but were a goal down when Jason Holmes scored after Jack Hartopp had saved twice.
In the 41st minute, Charlie Morris, raced through and flicked home to for a second goal for the home side.
Mitch Thomson, who had just come on after arriving late, ran through and was upended. The referee awarded a penalty and up stepped Jackson Downie to equalise.
