Jackie McGowan has stepped down from her duties with Coventry Sphinx after seventeen years.
Jackie joined the club when her sons were playing in Sphinx's junior teams and has been secretary of Sphinx's youth and reserve teams as well as the first team.
Speaking to the Sphinx website, Jackie said: "I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Sphinx and have made some great friends and the memories will live with me for a long time. I now have grandchildren and want to spend as much time as possible with them whilst they are young enough"
Sharon Taylor, who has been helping the club with secretarial duties especially on a match day will now takover the role and told the Sphinx website: "After talking to Jackie I have decided to accept the role of 1st team secretary she has been very helpful over the 12 months and if I can do half as good a job as Jackie then the club will be in good hands"
