Sphinx Held To FA Cup Draw

Coventry Sphinx were held to a 1-1 draw this afternoon in an FA Cup Preliminary Round tie at Bridgnorth Town.

Kyle Rhodes put Sphinx ahead after seven minutes with Bridgnorth equalising in the 29th minute.

Kelvin Phillips had a goal ruled out straight after the Bridgnorth goal and this means the sides will replay at Sphinx Drive on Tuesday night, kick off at Sphinx Drive at 7.45pm.

The replay also means that Sphinx's home match against Alvechurch due to have been played on Monday afternoon has been postponed.
