Coventry Sphinx were beaten 7-0 at Stratford Town tonight.
The Southern League Premier Division side were ahead in the 11th minute when Will Grocott netted against his former club.
A handball gave Stratford a 22nd minute penalty which Richard Gregory converted and was followed by a sublime ball from Grocott picking out Charlie Evans who picked his spot for the third goal in the 39th minute.
In the second half, Gregory volleyed home a fourth in the 53rd minute before Edwin Ahenkorah came on as a substitute and scored with a neat finish in the 72nd minute.
Ahenkorah made it six, smashing the ball high into the net in the 81st minute and the rout was completed a minute later, when the ball came over to Richard Gregory who completed his hat-trick by smashing the ball into the net.
