Coventry Sphinx worked hard but went down to a late 1-0 defeat.
At a very wet Halesowen Town FC, Coventry Sphinx arrived with a changed side from the one which had come back to win at AFC Wulfrunians on Saturday.
The game was only seven minutes old when Kiam Galdins suffered a head injury in a collision with Steve Cadwalleder and had to be replaced by Rikki Fletcher.
Carl O'Neill made two smart saves before Cutting fired noit far wide with a 17th minute long ranger from the right.
Play was heavily centred around the middle third of the pitch but in the 28th minute, Pearlman headed onto O'Neill's right hand post.
Jason Dodds fired at Turner, the sixth keeper Causeway have used this season but Causeway attacked down the right. O'Neill, saved with his feet but in came Josh March who thundered a 35th minute shot onto the right hand post.
Six minutes later and the ball came over to the unmarked Gio Dainty who shot wide with the goal at his mercy.
O'Neill made another save before the half ended.
Sphinx continued to work hard and won a 54th minute corner which Turner did well to save.
Ash Jackson went close with a long ranger before Luke Hopkins sent on Chris Gumery on for Lewis Bishop for the last 25 minutes.
March sent another chance wide in the 78th minute and got forward as his team won a corner two minutes later which saw Pearlman head at O'Neill.
Causeway won another corner in the 83rd minute and two minutes later, Alex Cowley was allowed space on the right to score with a low deflected shot.
Sphinx cleared a Beasley cut back off the line but they went down to a defeat.
