A remarkable game saw Sphinx return from Leicestershire with 3 points.
Sphinx opened the scoring with a good finish from youn.g Solihull Moors loan striker Kieran Nesbitt but Quorn were level soon after to make it 1-1.
Sphinx went back into the lead when Mitch Thomson was barged over in the penalty area and Thommo picked himself back up to send former WBA and Derby keeper Russell Hoult the wrong way from the spot and give Sphinx a 2-1 lead at half time.
Sphinx made it 3-1 with a superb counter attack with Quinn and Thomson combining to set Thomson up for his 2nd of the match.
Quorn were not beaten and got one back on 79 minutes and in the 90th minute they broke Sphinx hearts with an equaliser.
Sphinx were not finished and produced arguably the move of the match to release Luke Downes who calmly picked out Nesbitt to net his 2nd of the game and a 94th minute winner!
Unbelievable stuff and an afternoon that will live long in the memory.
