Coventry Sphinx Youth beat Nuneaton Griff 7-1 tonight in a Midland Floodlit Youth League fixture.
There was only 2.26 gone when Kyle Carey-Moore scored directly from a corner and on the half hour mark, Kyle Jaynes added a second.
Nuneaton pulled a goal back with a 35th minute Harry Everitt penalty but two minutes before the break, Kyle Carey-Moore made it three with Gabe Barnwell-Edinborough adding a fourth on the stroke of half-time.
Four minutes into the second half, Sphinx went nap through Brad Hardwick and after the visitors had a number of chances, Callum Swain scored a sixth in the 88th minute with Brad Hardwicke adding a seventh two minutes later to see Sphinx increase their lead at the top of the table.
