Coventry Sphinx are top of the Midland Football League Premier Division after thrashing Brocton 8-0 at Sphinx Drive.
Stuart Dutton's side were ahead in the first minute through Danny Douse and this was added to by a Mitch Thomson free kick and a Danny Harris goal to put Sphinx three goals to the good inside the opening ten minutes.
In the 21st minute, Thomson scored his second goal of the game and that was how it stayed until the second half when Thomson completed his hat-trick in the 57th minute and then netted a fourth.
Substitute Ryan Harkin scored goal number seven with another substitute Dayle Kenny adding the eighth.
Sphinx travel to Quorn on Wednesday night.
