Thornton Set To Join Sphinx

Former Coventry City midfielder Kevin Thornton is set to join Coventry Sphinx in a bid to get fit.

Thornton had been at Mansfield and has interest from Luton Town now managed by former City Academy boss Richard Money.

The Drogheda born player is expected to be in Danny McSheffrey's squad for the home match against Cradley Town on Saturday.
