Nuneaton Town were beaten yet again this afternoon at home.
Liam Daish's side went down to a 1-0 defeat in front of a crowd of 737 at the James Parnall Stadium thanks to Wood scoring a fifteenth minute penalty for Alfreton Town.
Nuneaton are down to second bottom in the Conference Premier Table.

Leamington FC came back to draw 1-1 with Hednesford Town.
The Brakes trailed to a goal in the third minute but Newton snatched a point in the 65th minute.

Bedworth United came from a goal down to beat Leighton Town 2-1 in a Southern League Central Division fixture.
Draycott had the visitors ahead in the 25th minute but Alex Naughton levelled on the stroke of half-time and Lowe scored the winner in the 53rd minute.

A crowd of 214 saw Rugby Town beat North Greenford 4-0 at Butlin Road.
Former Coventry City youngster Lewis Rankin opened the scoring in the third minute and Justin Marsden added a second in the 24th minute. Lewis McBride scored twice in 51st and 88th minute to give Rugby a great win.

Stratford Town drew 2-2 with Bridgwater Town at the DCS Stadium. Richard Gregory gave Stratford a sixth minute lead but the visitors scored twice through Tooze in the 32nd minute and Griffiths three minutes later. Six minutes from time, Price snatched a share of the points.
