The Coventry Transport Museum is to undergo a transformation.
£8.5m's worth of building work which has come from the Heritage Fund, ERDF, BIFA and help frrom Coventry City Council, will see twelve of the fourteen galleries completely redeveloped with an extension into Hales Street.
Also included in the project is the bringing back to life of the Old Grammar School which will be used for education with the emphasis on young people.
Work at the Museum, which houses a wonderful extensive range of cars, motorbikes and bicycles, many made in Coventry, which is visited by around half a million people a year will start at the end of March and is on a very tight schedule to finish in April 2015.
