Coventry United are through in the FA Vase competition after a 2-0 victory against fellow Midland Football League Division One side Studley at Sphinx Drive.
United were ahead in the tenth minute through Ross Briscoe but four minutes later, they were down to ten men when Macaulieigh Richards pulled down Hylton and was red-carded.
United had the better of the chances and with Studley down to ten men for the last fifteen minutes when Pendley was sent off for being the last defender and unfairly thwarting a United attack, Josh O'Grady scored a second goal with a neat finish four minutes from time to send United in to the Third Qualifying Round. .
