Coventry United Ladies hammered Plymouth Argyle 11-0 this afternoon in an FA WPL Southern Division fixture.
In a game played on Coleshill Town's 3G pitch and one which kicked off fifteen minutes later due to the late arrival of Plymouth, United were ahead in the 18th minute when an Ashley Neville header was saved by Phillips in the Argyle goal and Neville reacted first to head home.
Four minutes later and it was two thanks to Nikki Miles heading home a Helen Dermody free kick.
A third goal came in the 38th minute when Ashley Neville fired home an Anabel Johnson cross and after they had a goal ruled out for offside, Neville completed her hat-trick finishing off from a Dermody corner.
Helen Dermody lashed home a fifth in the 55th minute and then set up Ashley Neville for her fourth goal of the afternoon in the 61st minute.
Seven minutes later and it was seven when Maz Gauntlett chipped Phillips who was picking the ball out of the net for an eighth time when Helen Dermody turned home a Neville cross.
Helen Dermody completed her hat-trick in the 73rd minute to make it 9-0 and two minutes later, Amber Hughes made it ten.
With two minutes left, Amber Hughes scored again to complete an 11-0 thrashing.
Coventry Unlted Ladies Reserves drew 2-2 at Loughborough University.
