According to a tweet from The Enemy's Tom Clarke, the band featuring Tom Clarke and Coventry kids Liam Watts and Andy Hopkins are to play an huge open air gig in Coventry.
The gig, is described in the tweet as the "Biggest show we'll have put on to date" and having a "Brilliant line up, with some amazing extras."
The band are currently busy recording their third album which will be released in 2012.
They will be touring and are lining up a "major appearance in Scotland, and down south, as well as NI, then will be playing lots of festivals Then, after festival season, there will be the mother of all enemy tours, playing all the usual spots, but with special attention payed to Stoke, and areas of London where bands dont play. After that... Europe, Japan, America....world.."
The latest Enemy press release reads: "Delighted to say we've all but finished writing our 3rd Album and we'll be recording proper in early December with Joby J. Ford of U.S. band The Bronx taking the production chair. We're chuffed to be working with Joby, and equally happy that the material he'll be working on with us is our best yet... and very full on. We've also inked a new record deal with Cooking Vinyl (Home to The Prodigy, Primal Scream and Marylin Manson) and are delighted to still be on an Indie label - as we started life on Stiff Records - and Cooking Vinyl feels like home already."
