This Saturday (10th Dec), the Lower Precinct presents Hazel O'Connor in aid of Myton Hospice and School Choir Idol with Touch FM's Brody Swain.
It’s going to be a full and exciting day in The Lower Precinct next Saturday, Coventry singing legend Hazel O’Connor will be performing in The Mall in aid of Myton Hospice (The Lower Precincts chosen charity).
If that’s not enough to get you all Christmassy there’s also going to be “School Choir Idol”, hosted by Touch FM’s star DJ Brody Swain, beginning at 10.30am.
Coventry Music Historian Pete Chambers said: “Seeing Hazel O’Connor perform live is always a treat, seeing her for free in aid of such a great cause is remarkable”.Hazel who has just been inducted into The Coventry Music Wall of Fame, lost her mother Joyce this year to Cancer. Joyce received care from Myton Hospice and last year Hazel released the stunning star-packed Re-Joyce single, that and some of her favourites are promised on Saturday. Hazel, will be accompanied by Sarah Fisher and the wonderful Cambria choir who will travel up from London especially for the occasion. Not to be missed.
