Leamington boss Paul Holleran has admitted that he is disappointed that Matt Dodds has left to join Stourbridge.
Speaking to the Leamington Courier, Holleran said:"We’ve got a difference of opinion. “He feels he should be starting week-in, week-out.
“But to do the role he does, you need to chip in with assists and goals and Lee Chilton has done that well.
“It is a disappointing way to finish.
“Matty was a really good signing. He was tremendous the season we came up.
“He gave us good service and he was excellent value for money.
“But I can’t deny I’m bitterly disappointed. I’d have liked him to see out the season with us and then make a decision.”
