Leamington FC have released two players, the Conference North Club have announced.
Leamington boss Paul Holleran has confirmed that both defender Stuart Pierpoint and striker Stefan Moore have been released.
Holleran stated to the Brakes website "Unfortunately it has not quite worked out for Stuart and following the arrival of Delroy Gordon last week I made the decision to release him. He is an excellent professional and needs to be playing and I also need to balance the books. I wish him well and I'm sure he will get himself sorted out with another club soon.
Stefan Moore has been on the end of a seven day approach from Solihull Moors and Holleran said "I have had a number of conversations with Stefan in the last week. Whilst we were prepared to improve our offer we could not match what was on offer from Solihull. We are in a dog-fight at the bottom end of the table and I need players who are fully commited to the cause. I felt that it was better for both parties that he moved on".
