Nuneaton Town have got the red card awarded to James Armson in the defeat at AFC Halifax over-turned.
Liam Daish immediately appealed the decision and it was over-turned by the Football Association on Tuesday afternoon.
Armson said to Nuneaton News: “I must admit I am surprised it has been wiped off, but I do believe justice has been served. It shouldn’t have been a red card.
“I believe it at the time and I’ve looked at it since, his arm is as high as mine and there’s nothing in it, I’m just climbing to head the ball. I only had eyes for the ball.
“I didn’t think it was going to be turned around but I am relieved it has.
“I don’t know if my red card changed the result, but I guess it wouldn’t have helped.”
