Coventry band The Specials are to play the closing ceremony of the 2012 Olympic Games in London, it has finally been announced.
The Specials will play in a "Best Of British" set along with Blur and New Order in Hyde Park on August 12th.
This will be the only Specials UK gig this year as the band are touring the likes of Australia.
