Iconic Coventry band The Specials are to officially release their set from the Moonlight Club in 1979.
Set next door to Decca Studios which had a direct feed into the club, The Specials played a live gig on the day before Margret Thatcher came to power.
It was a set that has seen bootlegged copies becoming highly prized collectors items and a rarity amongst 2-Tone records.
The new cd features ten tracks from that set from a band that has reformed some thirty years later and will be playing the Ricoh Arena on Friday May 15th.
The tracklisting is 1. It's Up To You 2. Do The Dog 3. Monkey Man 4. Blank Expressions 5. Nite Klub 6. Concrete Jungle 7. Too Hot 8. Too Much Too Young 9. Little Bitch 10. Long Shot (Kick De Bucket)
