The setting was 51 Albany Road in Earlsdon, Coventry, which was the flat of Jerry Dammers and is hailed as the birth of Two Tone in 1979.
The plaque was again made by Coventry firm Harris Signs and is sponsored by Pete and Julie Chambers.
Guests at the event which was organised in association with Coventry Music historian Pete Chambers were Lynval Golding and a very late Charlie Anderson. Selecter members Gaps and Aitch also attended.
