British road race Champion Geraint Thomas won the Bayern Rundfahrt in Germany today.
Thomas finished eleventh on the final stage on the same time as the winner Giacomo Nizzolo (Leopard-Trek) to ensure that he won the five day race by 17 seconds from Nicki Sorensen (Saxo Bank), and 19 seconds ahead of third placed Michael Albasini (HTC-Highroad)..
