Coventry Bees are back in Elite League action tonight with a meeting against Lakeside Hammers at Brandon (7.30pm).
Promoter Mick Horton said to the Bees Website: “I was far more encouraged with the win over Wolves, and now we have to keep things going.
“It’s always good to see AJ (Jonsson) back at Coventry and I’m sure he’ll get a warm welcome but hopefully the likes of KK (Krzysztof Kasprzak) and Bomber (Chris Harris) will be able to handle him!
“I have been involved in a number of meetings lately and we are all working hard to try to secure the club’s future, and the message for supporters is to please remain behind us.
“We need to make it absolutely clear that there is a long-term need for this sport to continue, which I’m committed to make happen if at all possible… as John Clarke would say, please keep the faith!”
