Coventry Bees Speedway Team beat Kings Lynn 52-38 at Brandon tonight.
With Max Fricke and Stuart Robson guesting and rider replacement for Ben Barker, the Bees had a 3-3 in the first heat and then allowed Kings Lynn to take a 4-2 after only fielding James Sarjeant in the heat.
Another 3-3 was then followed by another 4-2 for the Stars and it was not until heat five that the Bees had their first heat win when Harris and Anderson rode for a 5-1.
That levelled the points at fifteen each and the Bees went in front with a 5-1 in heat six.
After a re-run heat seven which finished in a 3-3, the Bees took a 4-2 and after a 3-3, a 5-0 in a re-run heat to lead 35-24 at the interval.
Bjerre took a tactical and finished second for a 4-3 to the Stars but after a 3-3, Chris Harris won in a 4-2 in heat thirteen and although Kerr took a 4-2 win for the Stars, the Bees rounded off a good night with Chris Harris and Hans Andersen taking a 5-1 to give the Bees a 52-38 victory.
