Coventry Bees won 47-42 at Lakeside Hammers tonight.
The Bees had to use Darryl Richings as a guest rider and suffered a 5-1 loss in the opening heat.
Jason Garrity rode to a win in a 4-2 in the second heat and three 3-3's, The Hammers took a 4-2 win in heat six when Lawson was not to be caught.
Danny King won heat seven in a 4-2 which put the Bees only two points behind and after a 3-3, Garrity who had replaced the disqualified Richings won in a 4-2 to level the scores at 27 each.
After a 3-3, Lakeside had a 5-1 before two more 3-3's.
Danny King and Kylmakorpi rode to a 5-0 after Lawson's bike packed up on lap three and Bech had been disqualfied, which put the Bees back in front.
In the final heat, King and Harris rode to a superb 5-1 win and the Bees took a 47-42 victory.
