Coventry Bees take on Leicester tonight at Brandon (7.30pm) weather permitting.
If The Bees win, they will guaranteed a place in the play-offs and a victory would send them back top.
Bees promoter Mick Horton said to the Bees website: “We have two meetings in hand over Poole and if we win on Friday we go back to the top, and that has to be our aim.
“We need to get the fixtures in and keep our form going, and remain focused on every meeting.
“From now until the play-offs we need to try and step things up a little bit more, and see if we can go even better. The riders have been fantastic all year, and now we want to take things on even further.”
