New Coventry Blaze Ice Hockey team coach Chuck Weber has said the Blaze have a lot of work to do.
The Blaze face Cardiff Devils at the Sky Dome on Boxing Day at 6pm before finishing 2014 with trips to Cardiff (Dec 27) and Nottingham Panthers (Dec 31 at 3pm)
Speaking to the Blaze website, Weber said: Any time you get a win you feel a little more refreshed and a bit better about yourselves.
"It is going to be tough back-to-back with Cardiff and we will be having a morning skate before the game to make sure we are prepared.
"There is still a lot of work to do as we are nowhere near where we need to be as a team.
"Hopefully getting healthy can continue that process. We have a few days for guys to mend and heal - it has been tough having 3-5 of your better players out.
"We need to put a run of wins together to get out of the hole we have dug ourselves over the last couple of weeks.
"We have had Cardiff watched, they have a very good team, they are a big team who play to their identity and play to their strengths so we will need to be prepared."
