Coventry Blaze Ice Hockey team are through to the Challenge Cup semi-final after a penalty shots victory at Braehead Clan
The Blaze trailled 3-1 from the first leg and in Glasgow, they were 4-1 down on aggregate when Scott Aarssen scored a powerplay goal on 3.11
The Blaze, backed by eight fans, came back and equalised on the night through James Griffin on 6.16.
There were no more goals until the third period when Ashley Tait scored a second on 49.26 and then Ross Venus levelled the tie on aggregate with a goal on 51.22.
There were no more goals and it went to over-time and then penalty shots which saw the Clan miss the decisive one and Coventry took the win 5-4 on aggregate.
