Coventry Blaze have signed forward Trevor Frischmon.
The 33-year-old is a former team-mate of player-coach Steven Goertzen at Syracuse Crunch and Springfield Falcons in the American Hockey League and has also played for Mora IK in the Swedish Allsvenskan
Director Of Hockey James Pease said to the Blaze website: "Trevor comes with a good pedigree and it helps that he knows Steve having played together in the AHL.
"He is a solid guy with a lot of speed. He has a lot of experience and will be a leader in the room. He will bring some maturity and extra quality to our top six forwards.
"Trevor has a lot of upside. He puts the puck in the net, he makes plays, he handles the puck well and he will bring some energy to the line-up - he brings something different.
"He makes good decisions and he holds guys accountable and at this point in the season to bring in a guy of his quality is a huge boost for the club."
