Coventry Blaze Ice Hockey team won away at Sheffield Stars on penalty shots tonight after their Elite League game finished 2-2.

The Blaze were ahead on 1.41, when Brett Robinson scored, assisted by Brenden Walker and,James Jorgensen before Mathieu Roy equalised with an unassisted goal on 14.27.

Roy set up Ben O'Connor for Sheffield's second on 31.47 but on 39.18, Brett Robinson scored, assisted by Brenden Walker and Kevin Noble to send the game into over-time.

That failed to produce a goal and so it went to penalty shots with Jordan Pietrus scoring to give the Blaze the win.
